Mushroom curry

 

Ingredients

    Oyster mushroom [Kalan] – 2 [Fresh]
    Sambar onion [shallots] – 5 [sliced]
    Garlic – 2 cloves [finely chopped]
    Ginger – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
    Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
    Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
    Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
    Curry leaves – 1 spring
    Salt to taste
    Oil – 2 tbsp
    Water as needed

Method

    Pluck & wash mushrooms
    Then cut into long stripes
    Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds & let it splutter then add curry leaves fry.
    Add onion, ginger, & garlic sauté till soft.
    Add mushrooms, turmeric, red chilli powder & salt sauté for a min.
    Sprinkle water mix well, cover lid & cook till soft [Apr 3 min]
    Then cut off heat & serve hot with rice.
